Dear members

I have one question to ask. I just checked backlinks of one of my sites on yahoo site explorer and noted that the first site being shown in the results is a site which has my link with a "nofollow" attribute.

Does this mean that yahoo doesnt care about rel="nofollow"? Can anybody else check and confirm this from their own sites? And what about MSN?
Any suggestions?

Thanks

when Google sees the attribute (rel="nofollow") on hyperlinks, those links won't get any credit when we rank websites in our search results. This isn't a negative vote for the site where the comment was posted; it's just a way to make sure that spammers get no benefit from abusing public areas like blog comments, trackbacks, and referrer lists.

Okay, so this no follow tips is from google only. Then we can have some adjustments on our site promotion at google and yahoo.

How about MSN?

Thanks for this background notes.

I have heard many times that only google cares for this tags other search engines just don't care for this.
