Hi,
Generally , All webmaster observe that Yahoo was the fastest in indexing the sites camparing other SE, is this right? why it so ?

I haven't really noticed that. I was listed in Google and Yahoo very quickly, both in about one day.

Well for me it is different for different sites.

Some of my sites gets faster in yahoo while some gets faster on google. But majority of my sites gets faster in google.

the same situation for me too...for my personal blog, it had been index more faster by yahoo...but for my 1st niche website, google index it a week early than yahoo.. :wink:

Few of my websites got listed in all the 3 Se's quickly but one of my new site took much time to get indexed and the ranking in Yahoo and Google ....got good rankings in Msn but not in those 2.


But i am waiting for the time to get my needful and am sure to get it soon.

I notice that yahoo is the fastest aswell but google and even msn takes for ever and they dont publish all links or pages from my website

I am indexed in Google, Yahoo! & MSN and my site isn't even released yet. I was first indexed in Google and once your indexed there Yahoo! & MSN pick your site up. All of them are fast indexing for me.

What you see is not really What it means i guess..

If your basis of fast indexing is the # of indexed pages compared to other SEs, then Yahoo indeed gives you more of them but it's because they don't apply much of the strict displaying of link pages

On the other hand that does not necessarily mean that Google isn't seeing those pages of links from your site/s, they just display the most relevant ones.

MSN is very fast in indexing for sites.
Google and yahoo takes time to index on search engines

Yup, you are right yahoo is the fastest and I optimize my site within 24 hour yahoo cache my site.

Yahoo Indexed the new pages frequently in website but in the matter of ranking in result pages on targeted keywords it is not so easy.

Yahoo was the quickest for me. To this day, I get 3 times as many hits from the Yahoo bot then all the others combined.
