Yahoo vs Google

I am new to the whole search engine/PPC thing.

I have recently paid a company to do some optimised PPC for me. They are using 5 different search engines but they are not using Google. How do these other SE's compare to google as far as CPC etc?

Do you guys tend to have more sales/signups via Yahoo or Google?

Or direction greatly appreciated.

Also, is there any PPC optimisation companies you would recommend.

I hear page zero are good. Any reviews?

So they are not using Google for PPC? What is the reasoning behind that?...cost? I handle about 20 client's ppc accounts. My biggest client is listed on about 15 different PPC's. I always test Google, Yahoo and MSN. Sometimes it depends on the industry of the client whether they will do well in one ppc vs. another. You just need to test it.

Most of my clients see more sales/leads through Google than Yahoo, especially since the break up of Overture. I am seeing really good conversion rates through MSN, though less traffic than Google and Yahoo.

Did you give them a budget to work with? There is a lot of traffic out there that does not come through Google, With my campaign and budget I could not afford Google but still get lots of qulity traffic.

Google Adwords... i love it. It's easy to use.
besides... among the search engines, it is found that google is most popular.
