I belong to a very active Yahoo community. Recently a complaint was lodged against the owner for violation of TOS. There has been no action taken yet (3 weeks on) and the Group is still active.

Under the circumstances, the owner is willing to transfer ownership of the Group and leave. My questions are:

a) can Yahoo shut the Group down for violation of TOS even after the original owner has left?
b) if so, can the new owner be held liable for any action Yahoo may wish to take for actions done by the previous owner? and...

c) what are your personal feelings? Is it worth it, or will it become a gigantic can of worms down the road? (Yup, you guessed it...I'm the one who offered to assume ownership
  )
