Yahoo Traffic

Post May 22nd, 2007, 1:39 am

Hello

I am using blogger/blogspot for both of my blogs:
http://satya61229.blogspot.com and

http://only-your-views.blogspot.com.

Both of these blogs are getting few page views at start, which was natural.
Traffic was coming from google, yahoo and msn.

Now I am getting all the traffic from google and other referrals. and no traffic from other search engines. It looks very bad.

I listen that yahoo is very reserved about google ad program. Is it true?
I am using ad sense at both of my blogs.

How can I get traffic from other search engines?

And my tech blog satya61229.blogspot.com is 3-4 months old. I am getting 200 300 page views. Is it right and can I enjoy the traffic with that much posts. What could be the right target for that much posts and blog age. Please reply all blog owner specially who has started blogging 3-4 months back.

Thank You

No yahoo is not reserved about google ad programs. Nor does Google concerned with YPN.

One can get traffic from other search engines also apart from Google. As and when you refresh the blog with the content, ping it.

It looks very few yahoo SEO guru came through this post.

But there should be some way for getting yahoo and msn traffic, if they are not having problem with google adsense/blogger.

I've been using Yahoo for over 1 year now and really have found it more difficult than Google.

I've been hearing rumors that MSN and Yahoo may be joining forces.. Anyone know anything about that/

i agree it's hard to get but once you got the traffic, it runs smoothly and mind you, Yahoo's traffic is worth the wait compared to Google's

Google is the most used SE today so there's no doubt that most of the traffic came from them. Just enough to make a site live :)

No wonder google bring the most of our traffic because it is the biggest SEs so far...

Our blog http://encorepartydjs.weblog.com is about 8 months old and is now getting 200+ unique visitors a day. We started to monetize our blog in Feb. I rarely get any traffic from yahoo, however I made changes to onpage factors so that yahoo may index some pages in the serps.

This includes:
Post name in the title beginning
Post name in alt
Post name in <h1> and <i>
Post name at very end of blog

Since these changes are moderately new, I will see how this affects my yahoo rankings over the next coming months.

I also find it hard to get traffic from Yahoo. Out of the 200+ visitors everyday, only about 5-10 of them come from Yahoo. I tried pinging and my sites are submitted in Yahoo but I just can't seem to make enough traffic off of them.

Maybe it's because more than half of the netizens use Google?

it took me over 2 months to establish traffic from Yahoo but it's worth it because it's massive and relevant compared to Google's
