I am trying to use internet connection sharing in Windows Vista. Our town has metro-fi, and I'm using my computer's Wifi card to receive it.

I want to plug my router into my lan port and service other appliances that don't have Wifi. However, under services, I cant find a running DHCP server. So I'm just wondering how to get a DHCP server service running inside of Windows Vista or XP?

You can't run a DHCP server in Vista or XP.

You would need Windows 2000 Server, 2003 Server, or Longhorn Server which is in beta.
