I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and discovered that one of my old Outlook PST files is locked and asking for a password I no longer remember. I am looking for the safest and most reliable methods to decrypt or unlock the PST file without risking data corruption. Can anyone suggest trustworthy tools or manual steps that work well on Windows 11?

I don't know of any way to do this without a third party tool. The one suggested by Microsoft is SysTools PST Password Remover. It has a free trial, but pretty sure the free trial will let you read the PST file, but not unlock it. The paid version is only $29 for a one computer license. You can get it via the MS Appstore.
