Photography Competition #62: Funny/Happiness

Hello! After a year of having no competitions on Ozzu i felt it was high time we introduced something for you.

The next photography competition topic is : Funny/Happiness - Interpret this how you may. Take a photograph of something funny, or take a photograph that depicts a good case of happiness whether it is the facial emotion or what Happiness means to you. Are you going to a comedy show? or are you celebrating a wedding or birthday party soon? Be creative!

Rules: This is strictly a photography contest! No photo chopping, but contrast, brightness, levels and other minor touch-ups (healing tool will be allowed for film and print scans). Please avoid any text on the photograph, except at most a copyright statement, remember distractions like text can take away from the composition. Digital and film photography are both allowed. Only one submission per user will be allowed.

You MUST have taken the image yourself.

Max size dimension: 640px (including border)
Max file size: 150kb
File name: Please name your entry the same as your user name (or as close to as possible if your user name has characters that are not allowed in file names)
(Please ensure your entry meets the above before entering your image)

Length: Competition closes Monday 22nd August, 2011 (a whole month!)

Voting lasts five days after close of competition.

xtacybyme while your image is funny, it doesn't meet the qualifying dimension of Maximum of 640px. It would need to be reduced to size to qualify. The file name also needs to be your handle name. I also have to ask is that a photo, or a couple pictures you edited together in a photo editing software? It looks like the latter which would disqualify it also.

This is a photography contest so it has to be a photograph. Not something digitally assembled. We have competitions for that type of entry from time to time as well

no worries got plenty more... can i use a photograph i took of a business sign? if i resize to specs?

was gonna delete it/modify it/ upload diff. image with my name and at size, cant seem to like most forums. Moderator(Bigweb/ATNO) feel free to remove. will re-post my other entry once i get approval if a sign is ok.

A picture of a road sign is fine.

I removed your initial entry. A picture of a sign is fine as SB noted. Key is it has to be a photograph that you've taken. We have the size restriction mostly so all entries are uniform with the forum display size.
