I thought i would add that i have been meaning to post a Digital Manipulation topic as requested by some users but i cannot see an original comp to remind me how it all ran. This was down to pure laziness of course, but i figured it might be an idea to let you all know that i am going to make some changes.

It's also pretty important to note here that i left this post to hopefully inspire one of you (whoever has a load of spare time) to go find an original digital manip topic and PM it to me. :D

I think there's only ever been two - that is if you were talking about create-a-composition competition. And they were very near the beginning of the competitions. Here's the first one:
post21124.html?hilit=composition#p21124
And here's the second one:
competitions/create-composition-competition-t39463.html?hilit=composition

Unless you are talking about photo manipulation. Here's the first one dM posted back in March

Will start the topic hopefully within a week or so after this competition.

My Hunting composition thingy. Hope that it abides by the rules. Granted all of the images are googled but I used like 7 different google images, filtered some things created that middle circle and things. Did all that in photoshop.

I'm still trying to grasp photoshop and learn it...

I put those AK-47's over there just for the h*ll of it.

Thanks :D

I'm still baffled to how righteous_trespasser did his composition from scratch on Photoshop. Did he use some special brush or something for the grass and the golf ball?

well I created a pattern for the ball and filled a square part with the pattern, the I used the "spherize" filter to make it round, for the grass there is a brush tip that looks like grass, and it uses the primary and secondary colours.

It's a standard brush that comes with Photoshop.

Bogey's submission looks like the cover to a Ted Nugent album.

It seems it wasn't standard with my Photoshop because I can't find it under any of the brushes that I got and I checked under every from assorted brushes to Wet Media Brushes and I can't find it.

@kc0tma: Which one?

 I meant which of the Ted Nugent's album, not my submission. Although, I admit to almost going to google looking for Ted Nugent's album with a deer and the AK-47s on it.

Hmmm. It's been a standard brush as long as I can remember (...going back to Photoshop 4, I think).

Otherwise, it's very simple to create a brush. You could probably put together a variety of grass brushes in a matter of minutes.

No album in particular (not a Nugent fan personally) but it just looks like something that would be there since Ted Nugent is armed for the armageddon and kills bambis for sport.

Still, is there anywhere that I could install that brush? I searched google and couldn't find the brush...

Bogey, sorry. Haven't been paying much attention to this post. It's not in the listed Brushes, i.e. Assorted - Wet Media. It's part of the Default Brush set. Click Reset Brushes as shown in the screen shot below. When prompted click "Replace Current Brushes with the Default Brushes". It's in the fifth row down as circled.
